IRON BABY – An Iron Man movie parody titled “Iron Baby” was posted May 27, 2010 and as of today has had 3,072,578 views on YouTube. The film was made by Montréal’s Patrick Boivin who is a self-taught filmmaker former comic-book creator. The 36-year-old is also responsible for a clip called “YouTube Streetfighter” that has been viewed 7.4 million times. But “Iron Baby”, has brought Boivin offers from producers, including some from Hollywood.

Our comment: While this type of coverage is “special” look at a simple clip posted by Microsoft (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXS0BFS6QT4) to YouTube that has reached 11,368 views since it was posted Jan ’09. Views presumably by prospects and customers. We have seen simple interview clips with a CTO talking about a technology and drawing diagrams on white boards that were very effective and memorable. Question for your company: What have you posted on YouTube recently and what viral marketing have you done with it?
