Using Social Media to Ensure the ROI of Road Shows

Here are some INITIAL questions to think about the effective use of Social Media to promote the Road Show that you might be planning in the fall:

Are you using any forms of social media to help you with your event?

Does your event have its own Linked-In, Facebook group, a blog, and a Twitter page?

What are you using in the new social media space to promote your event?

What measures are in place to determine the effectiveness of these efforts?

Will you be using social media to repurpose the content supplied by speakers?

Will you encourage feedback from participants before and after the event?

How will you use social media to recruit participants?

Have you engaged speakers, company executives and other stakeholders to build a rich content base for the various social media sites you will use?

Have you appointed a social media publisher to devote the time and attention and will be required to effectively use these venues?

What is your strategy for using Twitter in particular?
